Ermo started cutting hair back in basic school. His friends would ask their parents for money to go to the barber. What they actually did was come over to Ermo's, let him cut their hair, and split the money. Their parents never caught on.
After basic school he went to Tartu Vocational Education Centre to study hairdressing for real. The theory filled in, and his hands got surer.
His own salon was the natural next step after school. The wish to run a business had been there since basic school. He opened the first salon in Paide, and it became popular fast. A couple of years later Ermo moved to Tartu with his family and opened a new salon under the same name. A clientele built up just as quickly in Tartu, because he already had clients here from vocational school. They were glad he had come back and recommended a good barber to others. To Ermo's surprise, some clients from the Paide salon still come from Järvamaa to Tartu to get their hair cut.
The plan is bigger now. Ermo wants to open several salons, so he is training young barbers to keep Barbermo's standard, both in service and in the quality of the work.

Ask Ermo
When you're not cutting hair, what do you do?
Family is definitely my first priority. If there's time left, I'm a bit of an adrenaline addict. I ride a motorbike, fly a paraglider, and I've done a solo parachute jump. If I'm not the one going up, I fly an FPV drone. When I can, I go spearfishing.
When did you last have time left for your hobbies?
Honestly, I don't remember. Right now the daily adrenaline is not knowing how many times the younger child plans to wake up at night, and whether the older one will come home from school without a backpack.
Come in and ask Ermo. If you want the answer on the website too, say so in the chair.
